Jackson Foundry Condos

Pieces of Williamsburg Brooklyn's storied past compose the foundation of Jackson Foundry on the corner of Manhattan Avenue and Jackson Street. The building's rich history stretches back to the Civil War Era when it was originally built as a munitions foundry, and then used as a printing factory and book depository for Argosy. This 27,000 sf century old structure has been preserved by integrating the two original warehouses into 21 luxury loft condominiums. Exposed timber columns, heavy timber floor joists and masonry walls dating back to 1901 are framed by Modern luxury. Natural brick work, cast iron capitals, steel beams, vintage rolling fire doors, and a beautiful cast iron spiral staircase are all details carefully maintained in a neighborhood whose historic character is rapidly vanishing. Oversized windows amplify these original features while allowing incredible views of the Manhattan skyline.
